I was very disappointed with this book It read like a boring autobiography rather than a motivational inspiration on how to feel comfortable in the skin you re in I enjoy following Tess on social media and respect her stance on loving yourself But, her book was just not an interesting read

It was OK As an individual who has been overweight her whole life but very healthy I was disappointed that there wasn t about how horribly most overweight people are treated growing up I was expecting to find someone who shared my experiences and overcame them to become a successful adult, as have I, but her weight being a barrier to anything is hardly mentioned Also, a nasty, unnecessary political commentary towards the end.

Love this book An interesting insight into the life of Tess Holliday Not a big fan of autobiographies but this one was Wonderful This book made me feel like I am capable of so much and that big girls deserve to feel Beautiful no matter their size or hangups.

I laughed, I cried, experiencing the pain and heart break of living life as the fat girl, a fat teenager, a fat woman Ms Tess has empowered me to be the real me Haters will always hate, so LOVE yourself, and be yourself They can kiss my big fat ass.
